Setting up your first slider
- In the Wix Editor, open Add → My Apps and drag Reveal onto your page. It starts with a demo comparison so you can see it right away.
- Click the slider, then Settings. On Images, pick your before photo and your after photo, and write a short description for people using screen readers.
- On Style, hover the ten looks to preview them on your page, then click the one you like. Design and Motion fine-tune the divider, handle, labels, frame and intro.
- Publish your site, then open it on your phone and give the slider a drag.
Shooting a great before & after
- Same spot, same angle. Stand in the same place and frame the same way both times. Mark your spot or use a tripod.
- Same light. Shoot at a similar time of day with the same lights on, so the change people see is your work, not the weather.
- Same size. Use the same zoom and the same crop, so the two photos line up when the divider moves.
- Keep the subject centred. Reveal never crops the important part, and you can set a focal point for each photo in Images.
FAQ
What's free and what's Premium?
Free includes the Clean and Bold styles, horizontal and vertical sliders, all label options, all aspect ratios and all intro animations, with a small "Made with Reveal" badge. Premium adds eight more styles, the angled divider, auto-play, several comparisons in one slider, and removes the badge.
Can I try Premium styles before paying?
Yes. Every style and option previews in the Editor. Your published site shows Clean until you upgrade, and keeps all your other settings.
How do I upgrade or cancel?
Use See plans in the slider's settings or Compare plans in the Reveal dashboard. Plans are billed and cancelled through your Wix account.
There's empty space under my slider in the Editor.
The slider's height follows its width and aspect ratio. If you make it narrower or pick a shorter ratio, drag the widget's bottom handle up and it snaps to fit.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. It takes the full width on mobile, visitors drag with a finger, and labels shrink to fit small screens.
Is it accessible?
The slider works with the keyboard (arrow keys) and screen readers, and visitors who turn on "reduce motion" get a still slider.
